THE MOUNTAIN
A sanctuary for nature, spirit, art, and community
Tucked in the hills of Ericeira, The Mountain is a cultural and ecological sanctuary — where architecture, land regeneration, artistic expression, and spiritual practice meet.
Rooted in a protected ecological zone, the space is guided by three principles: minimal structures, living soil, and collective ritual.
OUR VISION
This is not
a private retreat.
It’s a shared space — shaped by the people who care for it.
Not a stage, but a field of collaboration, open to the world yet rooted in place.
The Mountain is more than a place — it’s a movement in harmony with land, culture, and collective care.
WE AIM TO
Restore
ecosystems
through native planting, soil regeneration, and the protection of pollinators
Integrate
art
into the terrain — through installations, sound, and performance that emerge from and respond to the land
Support spiritual and educational practices
that draw on sacred geometry, ancestral knowledge, and the wisdom of place
Foster community involvement
through workshops, rituals, and co-creation across the seasons

A LIVING RYTHM
OF PARTICIPATION
THE
TEMPLE
Crown of the Mountain
At the summit, two inverted pyramids — one of light, one of shadow — form a sacred space of balance and presence.
The Temple gathers rain, breathes with the land, and invites stillness.
It is a living altar, shaped in sacred geometry and built for realignment.
THE BEE HIVE HUTS
The Healing Hum
Above living hives, your body receives the soft hum of thousands of bees — a vibration that calms the mind and soothes the nervous system.
Warm hive air rises gently, carrying the scent and healing essence of nature.
These are spaces of deep rest, where nature does the healing and we simply receive.
THE MUSICAL STAGE
Where the Land Speaks
Carved into the hillside, this natural amphitheater lets sound travel freely through stone, grass, and sky.
Here, music becomes ritual and silence holds meaning.
We invite artists to co-create a stage where the Mountain itself becomes the voice.
THE TEMPLE OF THE BODY
Movements as prayer
A platform under open sky invites movement, breath, and awakening — where the body is honored as the temple.
Nearby, the temazcal offers fire and steam for purification and renewal.
This is a space for presence, discipline, and the return to embodied vitality.

THE
MOUNTAIN
A PLACE
IN
MOTION
A sanctuary that grows through care, creativity, and connection — rooted in Earth, and shaped by all who walk its paths.
